Engineering for efficient raw materials processing
The raw materials sector is one of the priority areas of the economy, both economically and socially. Therefore, today, innovations that improve the efficiency of production processes are of major importance.
Design and modernization of technological lines
Since the beginning of its operations, BIPROMET S.A. has taken on challenges aimed at increasing production capacity through the design or modernization of technological lines. Within this scope, the company prepares, among others, design and detailed documentation covering issues related to maintaining production capacity, replacing and renovating outdated machinery, expanding core production departments, as well as constructing new comprehensive facilities and plants.

Turnkey projects for zinc, lead, copper and aluminium industries
Major technological and structural engineering projects have been carried out for the zinc and lead, copper and aluminium industries, where BIPROMET S.A. has also undertaken turnkey investment projects, including:
- the construction of the Battery Scrap Processing Plant in Świętochłowice,
- the modernization of Orzeł Biały S.A. in Piekary,
- the construction of the aluminium ingot press shop for Hydroaluminium in Chrzanów and Alupol in Tychy,
- as well as the Contirod continuous copper rod rolling mill for KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.
As a result of projects improving the efficiency of technological lines, investors achieved increased production flexibility, lower costs through reduced material consumption and energy intensity of production, improved quality and reduced environmental impact of production.

General design of the Pyrometallurgy Modernization Programme
One of the most important examples of the use of BIPROMET’s design and execution potential was its role as General Designer of the Investment as part of the implementation of the comprehensive Pyrometallurgy Modernization Programme at the Głogów smelter, carried out in 2010–2016 for KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.
The completed design task, particularly with regard to the structure of the Electric Furnace, is regarded as a new generation of metallurgical units.
BIPROMET S.A. also implemented its proprietary solutions for afterburning, cooling and, most importantly, effective cleaning of process gases at the Głogów Copper Smelter.
