Dedusting and gas cleaning for industrial power generation

Gas cleaning and transport from production processes are closely connected with the area of heat recovery and management. Moreover, gas utilization in the power sector is an extremely important element of the technology. These installations, equipped with electrostatic precipitators or bag filters, are continuously improved and modernized due to increasingly strict criteria concerning greenhouse gas emissions.

Experience in commercial and industrial power sectors

For over a dozen years, BIPROMET S.A. has been strengthening its position in the commercial and industrial power sectors. In Poland, efficient electrostatic precipitators have been installed in power plants and combined heat and power plants.

Award-winning solutions for fluidized-bed boiler dedusting

The company applied an innovative solution involving the use of an electrostatic precipitator for a fluidized-bed boiler, which was awarded the title of Ecological Implementation of the Year.

Turnkey flue gas dedusting projects in Poland and abroad

In addition, modern technologies and equipment for dedusting and flue gas cleaning were installed at EC Kraków, ZEC Bytom-Miechowice, EC Bielsko-Biała and EC II Karolin. Abroad, large turnkey investment projects were completed for flue gas dedusting installations at the Ledvice Power Plant, the Krnov Heating Plant, the KWK Doubrava Heating Plant and Energetyka Trzyniec.

Innovative dedusting of bituminous masses

It is worth emphasizing that, among the many technologies designed by BIPROMET, the company implemented an innovative solution for dedusting bituminous masses. As a result, low-efficiency dedusting based solely on cyclone dust collectors was replaced with a two-stage dedusting system using fibre filters.

High-capacity modernization at EC Kraków

This solution was implemented at EC Kraków as part of the modernization of boiler electrostatic precipitators, achieving installation capacity of 120,000 Nm³/h and dust emissions within the range of 15 to 30 mg/Nm³.
